The box measures 15.5" X 8.75" X 1.75".
It is solid wood with 2 hinges on the back and a flip down latch on the front. It is padded on the inside for Chess pieces. There are 2 removable lined trays for chess pieces. These trays will accommodate chess pieces approximately 1.5", 1.75", 2" & 2.25".
The box does show normal use wear with some scratches and a black painted repair on one black square on the bottom. There is also a name written on the inside of the box. There are a few stains in the white fabric.
If your box board is damaged or lost this item is in a very good usable condition.
